About Us

Come to the Table is an on-going project that explores the connections between food security, faith and farms.

We include lay leaders and ministers, nonprofits, government officials and individuals.

We work together as people of faith to create a food system that that feeds our communities, supports farmers and farmworkers, and fosters a connection to the land.

Come to the Table is a project of the Rural Life Committee of the North Carolina Council of Churches with support from the Duke Endowment.
